In our exploration of equitable assessment practices based on Joe Feldman's "Grading for Equity," participants will review the purpose of assessment and the three pillars of equitable grading: accuracy, motivation, and bias-resistance. Through discussion, we will identify ways to reframe our approach to assessment in the classroom while maximizing student learning based on the three pillars.
