Early Numeracy Series / 3 days  - (participants wishing to register for only a portion of the series should contact lforbush@esd113.org. Registration fee per day is $100.)

• Day One: Counting and Cardinality: What children must learn in order to learn the counting sequence and understand the quantity associated with each number. Subitizing, which helps children know quantity without counting it, can begin with small numbers. Comparing quantities creates a later need for operation.  
• Day Two: Operations and Algebraic Thinking: How children connect different meanings, interpretations and relationships with the operations of addition and subtraction.
• Day Three: Early Pathways for Geometry: How children progress in their understanding of geometry and spatial sense.
