Is your district planning to adopt a new curricular program for Mathematics, English/Language Arts, or Science? This series of three-hour sessions will walk your district’s Curriculum Adoption Team through a process for selecting a program that best suits your district’s mission, vision, and student body. In the course of the series, attendees will learn how to use objective tools to assess the “fit” of curricular programs in the marketplace. These tools include the IMET (Instructional Materials Evaluation Tool), AET (Assessment Evaluation Tool), and EQuIP (Educators Evaluating the Quality of Instructional Products). By the conclusion of the series, your district’s Curriculum Adoption Team will be ready to present a recommendation to the School Board, backed by solid, objective data.
We will utilize the IMET, EQuIP, and AET Rubrics for this work.
District team of up to 8 staff members.
