Description
This class is designed for teachers of grades 4-10. Participants will explore the topic of Personalized Learning, what it is and what it is not. Questions to be addressed include the following: What content lends itself to Personalized Learning? How do I start? Will my students be ready? What is the role of the teacher? How do I prepare my students? Participants should feel free to bring ideas to share with others. Also bring text materials, laptops or other devices, and planning materials. Time will be allocated for participants to develop their own personalized learning plans during this workshop-style training.

Teachers should bring with them samples of texts/units currently used in their classrooms. Also, they should feel free to bring electronic devices to use during class.
