Desmos is the online graphing calculator that is already freely available to you and your students, but it is so much more! Learn how to get the most out of this tool as you explore the basic features and functions through a problem-based lesson. This first session will also explore Desmos Activity Builder, a dynamic space where teachers have created, shared, and adapted an abundance of digital activities. Participants will learn how to find and facilitate Desmos activities with confidence, as well as make use of the teacher dashboard to manage collaborative learning. Desmos calculators are built right into Smarter Balanced Assessments, making routine teacher and student use of these tools worthwhile for every classroom.
