Description
The first year of teaching can often be characterized by a cycle of adaptation, reflection, and growth. Initially, a new educator is filled with excitement and anticipation as they enter the profession. However, they quickly encounter the reality of the dynamic classroom environment, facing challenges and unexpected situations. This leads to a phase of adaptation, where the new educator learns to navigate classroom and school systems. As the year progresses, reflection becomes a crucial component of the cycle. They seek feedback from their web of support to refine their professional practices and this reflective process allows new educators to continuously evolve and grow professionally.
Invest in a day. Explore innovative strategies, share best practices, and ignite your passion for supporting the next generation of educators. Get ready to connect with fellow education enthusiasts, gain practical tools, and spark transformative ideas that will empower and uplift our educational community.

This day is for anyone involved in the induction supports for early career educators and is open to BEST and non-BEST districts.
