Training Description:

This in-person FLASH training will provide elementary educators with an introduction to the skills needed to effectively deliver the FLASH sexual health curriculum in elementary classrooms. The training will focus on an overview of the FLASH curriculum; the role of key concepts in delivering the program; the FLASH Values Question Protocol as a strategy for answering values-laden questions posed by students in sexual health classrooms; and increasing comfort with other strategies to answer difficult questions. The training will not cover specific lessons in detail but will allow participants to see the curriculum and ask questions about content. This training is appropriate for both new and seasoned sexual health educators. 

Participants must attend and participate in the full 3 hours of training in order to receive clock hours. Partial clock hours will not be awarded.
