Description
ALL public school districts and charter schools are required to report data through the United States Department of Education Civil Rights Data Collection (CRDC).
The NE Washington Information Service Center will provide CRDC training around the time the collection window opens; currently scheduled for December 9, 2024 and close March 7, 2025. Please note that the collection for the 2023-24 school year will include all of the required data elements which were optional in the prior collection; including teacher information.
NEWISC documents for these training sessions will be posted to our Documents and Training Materials Library as they become available. However, that timing will depend on Skyward’s ability to make all of the programming changes based on the recently released CRDC data manuals. The 2023-24 LEA and School Forms and other general information related to the CRDC collection can be found on their website at: https://crdc.communities.ed.gov/#program.
The training will cover:
- Configuring the Extracts within the Skyward system
- Extracting data from Skyward
- Reviewing the Extracted Data for accuracy
- Maintaining data elements which are not stored in Skyward
We will not cover how to upload your data to the CRDC portal and going through the validations on that site.
In-Person sessions will be training in the morning with working labs after training concludes.
