ESB 5790, passed in the 2024 legislative session, mandates bleeding control kits in every WA K-12 school, and a minimum of two Stop the Bleed trained employees beginning in the 2026-27 school year. NWESD 189 is hosting Stop the Bleed training for school districts to fulfill this requirement.
