Understand the Foundations of Vocabulary Instruction: Participants will explore the research-based importance of explicit vocabulary teaching, including the relationship between vocabulary knowledge and reading comprehension. They will differentiate between Tier 1, 2, and 3 words and recognize their role in various content areas.
