Over 2,000 research studies have shown that hope can be nurtured and people can grow their capacity for hope. The neuroscience basis for hope is especially important and interesting for educators as we work to support our learners’ engagement and growth in the aftermath of COVID shutdowns. During this workshop, we’ll explore practical, research-based approaches that will empower educators to design learning experiences that activate student agency and foster deeper engagement and learning.

The session will include multiple research-based resources and include time for participant reflection, revised thinking, and report out sharing of new understandings. A continuation of Neural Education principles, in application, will be offered in one additional virtual, after-school workshop on 4/17/25.
