Description

In this asynchronous course, you will engage with the guiding principles of the Student Growth Goals in order to understand implications for teacher pedagogy and instructional leadership. Through self-guided exploration of resources and reflective prompts, leaders will anchor in the Student Growth Goal rubrics. Participants will consider shifts teachers might make in planning, guiding, assessing, and reflecting on student learning, as well as shifts leaders might make in professional development for teachers.

Clock hours will be awarded based on completion of each accountability checkpoint (1 per module).

Event Notes

All work is done on Canvas.

Please note: This is not a training on evaluation practices, such as documenting evidence or conducting an evaluation conversation. AWSP, the instructional frameworks, and OSPI have trainings and resources to support the evaluation process. The purpose of this course is to consider leaders' approaches to grow teachers' pedagogy in alignment with the Student Growth Goals through professional development and coaching.
