This course is part of the “ESD 105’s Computer Science Getting Acquainted” series, which is designed to acquaint educators with various methods, bots, and devices that can be used to introduce, teach, and support Computer Science topics such as computational thinking, coding, problem-solving, and more! Suitable for all grade-level educators with any level of STEM, STEAM, or Computer Science teaching experience.

Become acquainted with the features of the Ozobot, a small robot that provides a hands-on approach to teaching programming and robotics through dual coding options using color-coded markers and block-based coding. After becoming acquainted with the Ozobot and the available library of lessons, participants will identify an idea for incorporating Ozobots into their classroom to foster critical thinking and problem-solving skills among students. Participants will also become familiar with the newly forming Computer Science Lending Library at ESD 105.
