This training is part 3 of a 3-part series that will provide participants with a holistic understanding of what diversity, equity and inclusion in education  look like in "the real world." It is highly recommended that you do the Events in order: 1, 2, then 3. However they can be done individually or out of order.

In Module 3 participants will take all they learned about history, society, bias, and awareness and work towards developing more student-centered, and human-centered, systems and supports.

Moving forward staff will design classrooms and instruction that is more responsive to community and student identities and needs.

Participants will see multiple examples of what this can look like and be given frameworks, models, and practices to apply to their work in creating more student centered practices. 

Registration will be through pdEnroller, while the work will be done through the CANVAS learning platform.

THIS EVENT RUNS SEPTEMBER 16, 2024 - FEBRUARY 28, 2025.

WORK/ATTENDANCE VALIDATIONS WILL HAPPEN ONCE A MONTH DURING THIS TIME FRAME.

 ALL WORK MUST BE SUBMITTED BEFORE FEBRUARY 28, 2025. UNFINISHED WORK WILL NOT COUNT TOWARDS CLOCK HOURS.

• Clock Hours will be awarded monthly (or sooner as possible) upon completion of the ONLINE Canvas course and completion of the final Survey in the Canvas Course.

• Participants complete this ONLINE course in WAESD Canvas at their own pace.
