Description
This is the first section of the Exploring STEM series. In this fully asynchronous Canvas course, you will have the opportunity to explore an introduction to STEM through a self-paced series of reflective activities. In this initial module, you will explore the concepts of STEM, STEM literacy, STEM Identity and ways that STEM can be reimagined and integrated to support whatever content you teach. You will also have the opportunity to reflect on ways that you might approach and include STEM topics in your work.
Asynchronous: The class is delivered entirely online through a LMS. Students may complete these classes at their own pace.
Canvas: Online Learning Management System (LMS) similar to Blackboard, D2L, or Google Classroom

This is one part of a five-part series. By completing parts 1 through 5, you’ll have 15 total STEM Clock hours to meet the STEM clock hour requirement for certificate renewal.
