Description
This is an asynchronous course that is part of the AESD Inclusionary Practices Project (IPP). It is one of 12 modules that will be offered as a part of this project. You are welcome to take this course asynchronously, however, there will also be synchronous courses available if that is better for your learning preference. This course meets the criteria for Equity clock hour requirements for certificate renewal for certificated staff as well as Educational Leadership clock hours. OSPI has a specific focus on racial equity and family engagement which this course will address and how it relates to the course content.
In this course, participants will develop an understanding of why PLCs using UDL principles are important and vital for student and staff learning. Educators will learn how UDL PLC coherence and structures revolve around the culture of collaboration. Understanding how UDL PLCs continue to move the student learning cycle forward; benefitting all students and staff.
