Description
This 3-part shared learning series takes a deeper look at Understanding the Situation - Step 2 of the Six Step Planning Process for writing a comprehensive school safety plan. Participants will learn about the types of assessments that are needed for writing a comprehensive plan, how to add crime prevention as a critical component of school safety planning, and practice using standardized assessment tools that help prioritize specific threat and hazard planning. While it is helpful to have completed the Comprehensive School Safety Planning course, it is not a pre-requisite for this class.
