This workshop takes a deeper look at "Understanding the Situation," Step 2 of the Six Step Planning Process, for writing a comprehensive Emergency Operations Plan (EOP). Participants will learn about the types of assessments that are needed for planning a comprehensive EOP, how to utilize crime prevention as a critical component of school safety planning, and practice using standardized assessment tools that help prioritize specific threat and hazard planning. While it is helpful to have completed the Comprehensive School Safety Planning course, it is not a pre-requisite for this class.
