This all-day event will provide a deep dive into the application of Positive Community Norms to increase healthy attitudes and behaviors among youth around substance use.
Come ready for hands on activities to build skills and understanding of Positive Community Norms implementation and impact.
Discover how four essential domains: Spirit, Science, Action, and Return work together to create a synergistic cycle of positive transformation that moves you from busy to effective. This training series will unpack how you can use these powerful frameworks can uncover the positives that already exist in your community, identify the gaps and misperceptions around healthy norms, and use that information to further build on protective factors, attitudes, and behaviors to increase health and safety in the communities that you serve.
These frameworks will revolutionize your approach to strategic prevention communication by infusing it with hope! Throughout this highly interactive training series, you’ll explore, discuss, practice, and reflect on integrating positive norms into your messages and communications.

This is the second part of a two-part training series. Participants who are not familiar with the Positive Norms framework or need a refresher of the content should attend one of the introductory online sessions prior to this event on May 23rd and May 29th.
