Description

Dyslexia represents the most common and most prevalent of all known learning disabilities and impacts approximately 1 in 5 individuals. They are in every classroom, at all levels of education, being educated by general education teachers, interventionists, and special educators. This session is designed for counselors, teachers, and parents who struggle to support their students and children with dyslexia. Interactive experiences will focus on understanding dyslexia, the social/emotional effects of struggling to learn to read & write, tips and tricks for supporting and including students with dyslexia in general education classrooms and work.
