Over the course of four days, participants will work collaboratively to increase their knowledge around the Marzano Instructional Framework to best meet the needs of their district.  This will includ:

• Building on previous knowledge of 8 WA State Teacher Criteria
• Applying framework language to observation and analysis of teaching practice
• Developing skills for providing formative feedback grounded in framework language
• Exploring systems of comprehensive support for improving teacher growth and development

Required training for new principals, assistant principals, and those who have changed frameworks:

• Stage I: 2 days
• Stage II: 4 days

In the 24 clock hours that are provided, participants may claim up to 24 leadership clock hours and up to 8 equity clock hours (not to exceed the total hours of the training series). Equity clock hours are aligned to CCDEI Standards 1a (Understanding Self, 1b (Responsiveness), 2a (Relationships), 2c (Service), 3b (Collaboration), 4a (Self-Reflection), 4b (Commitment), 4c (Advocacy).

For all instructional frameworks, the Stage 1 & 2 training aligns to the following PSEL standards: 4,5,6,7,8.
