The purpose of this day's training is to cover the remaining modules for School Safety and Security Staff not presented during the Safety Summit 2024 at the Spokane Convention Center August 5-6. In order to meet the requirements of ALL 13 modules, School Safety and Security Staff must register for and attend the main conference as well as the remaining modules on day 3. Completion of all 13 modules is needed for all School Safety and Security Staff members employed by a school district in Washington state.

• Completion of training on all 13 mandated topics within 6 months of starting the position
• 2 days of on the job training and 6 check-ins with identified, experienced staff

SRO training requirements include:

• Completion of training on all 13 mandated topics within 6 months of employment as an SRO
• 2 days of on the job training
