Description
Target Audience 3rd-Middle School (NOTE: This course is open to Whatcom County educators only)
- Self-paced online Canvas course (3-hours) to gain the skills to incorporate the outdoors and climate-related lessons with students (2-hours), collecting assessment data for final upload. Objectives are:
- Increase confidence in taking students outside
- Learn strategies for an equitable and effective outdoor learning environment
- Select and implement new lessons to incorporate local climate science and NGSS with support for assessing learning in the outdoors
- All course work including final upload needs to be completed by 5/31/2022
