Mathematics has the power to empower and transform. In this workshop, we'll explore approaches that can help motivate students to understand more deeply, develop their courage and curiosity, and take ownership of their learning.  

Expect a highly interactive and hand-on session. You'll leave with new ideas, games, puzzles, and instructional routines to build conceptual understanding and numeracy skills that you'll be able to take back to your classroom and use right away. 

Dan Finkel is the founder of Math For Love and creator of the award winning games Tiny Polka Dot and Prime Climb. He is the co-author of Math for Love Summer Curriculum and an international speaker. 

This is a full-day in-person event and each attendee will receive a Math for Love game.
