Event Cancelled
With apologies for the change in plans, it has just been decided that we will be cancelling all the T-L workshops scheduled in March, out of an abundance of caution. Our hope is to re-schedule this workshop for later this spring (at the same location if possible), but that won’t happen until early April. We will notify you when/if the workshop is re-scheduled, and give you first preference in registration for the re-scheduled workshop….3/10/2020 5:21 PM Dennis Small

Description
This free workshop is designed to provide Teacher-Librarians and other educators with strategies to support student learning using the state’s updated Social Studies Learning Standards (https://www.k12.wa.us/student-success/resources-subject-area/social-studies/learning-standards ). Participants will gain a general understanding of the standards, and ideas for implementing them at all levels. This training is sponsored by the WA State Library, WLA, and OSPI, and 6 free clock hours will be available to attendees.
Event Notes
The library is in Cascade Commons, which is the complex that holds the cafeteria, gyms and library between Mount Baker Middle School and Little Mountain Elementary. The proper parking lot would be the middle BIG parking lot on LaVenture. The library is toward the north end of that parking lot.
