Description

Positive relationships with caring adults are one of the strongest protective factors for youth health. Washington mentoring programs have stepped in to help fill capacity needs as student needs for support have increased. Each program brings its own unique flavor and emphasis. But what do the best programs have in common? What are the mentoring moves that will make a lasting impact on youth?  How could a mentoring program evaluate their success? We’ll be tackling these questions with Psychologist & Author of Older and Wiser: New Ideas for Youth Mentoring in the 21st Century, Jean Rhodes and Washington’s Executive Director for Communities in Schools, Stephen Song. They’ll share hallmarks of best practices and their lessons learned about creating impactful mentoring. We offer 1.5 free Clock Hours for participating and hope you can join us!
