This course introduces educators to the Next Generation Science Standards. Although designed for Career and Technical
Education teachers as a part of a professional learning course, it can be taken by any educator wanting to learn how to read and
use the science standards.

1. Gain a foundational understanding of the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS).
2. Consider how the NGSS are to be implemented in the classroom.
3. Identify the full suite of supporting documents and resources that make up the NGSS.
