Challenge and productive struggle are key elements that support the brain’s engagement and learning. During our closing workshop for this year-long series, educators will deep dive into Dr. Marian Diamond’s seminal research related to neuroplasticity and enriched environments. We’ll connect recent neuroscience research with Dr. Diamond’s to design instruction that incorporates productive struggle and leads to increased engagement and deeper learning.

The session will include multiple research-based resources and include time for participant reflection, revised thinking, and report out sharing of new understandings.
