Description
School Improvement 101- Designing Empathy Interviews
Wednesday June 9, 2021 | 10:00-11:30am
Are you reaching the students and families you need to hear from most? Empathy interviews are a great strategy for connecting with fresh perspectives from your community. In this webinar you’ll learn about how to design empathy interview questions and design some of your own with help from colleagues from across the state. You’ll also learn a protocol to keep equity at the forefront as you consider the results. We have an awesome guest, Bethany Martinez from the Wahluke School District who will be sharing how she’s used empathy interviews to engage multilingual student, family, and community voice.
School Improvement 201 - Driving Equitable Supports with the Tiered Fidelity Inventory
Wednesday June 9, 2021 | 3:00-4:30pm
How’s your team operating? Do you have a system that guides students to the right student supports? Do you know if the supports you’re offering are working? The Tiered Fidelity Inventory (TFI) is a great tool to evaluate your team’s progress toward practices for continuous improvement and tiered supports. You can use this survey throughout the year with your team to set goals and monitor your progress. In this session we’re bringing you OSPI’s RJ Monton who will be talking about how he’s used the Tiered Fidelity Inventory with schools and how it’s impacted their practice.
