This training will focus on supporting ML teachers and specialists and K-12 teachers in collaboratively planning together to support multilingual learners. We will also cover co-teaching structures and practices. This training is designed to support multilingual and general education teachers in effectively collaborating to integrate language and content instruction and is applicable to all ELD service delivery models. Participants are expected to ‘try on’ co-planning practices covered between sessions with their co-planning partner(s).  

Co-Planning: Five Essential Practices to Integrate Curriculum and Instruction for English Learners by Andrea Honigsfeld and Maria Dove will be our anchor text. We recommend participants purchase this text prior to attending the first session and bring the text with them to the first session.
