Description

Over the course of two days, participants will have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the Danielson Framework for Teaching.  By the end of this stage participants will:  

  1. understand the overall structure, vocabulary, and Common Themes of the Framework for Teaching. 
  2. Gain foundational knowledge and skills for observing and evaluating teaching and having collaborative conversations. 

  

Intended Audience: Principals, Assistant Principals, and central office staff who evaluate teachers under the TPEP evaluation system.  

  

In the 12 clock hours that are provided, participants may claim up to 12 leadership clock hours and up to 4 equity clock hours (not to exceed the total hours of the training series). Equity clock hours are aligned to CCDEI Standards 1a (Understanding Self), 1c (Responsiveness), 3b (Collaboration), 4c (Advocacy). 

For all instructional frameworks, the stage 1 & 2 training aligns to the following PSEL standards: 4, 5, 6, 7, 8
